When should we get Botox?

1. You’re Noticing Dynamic Wrinkles,
These are lines that appear when you make facial expressions, like frowning, squinting or smiling. Common areas include:

Forehead lines
Frown lines (the “11s” between the brows)
Crow’s feet around the eyes

If these lines linger even after your face is at rest, Botox can help soften them or prevent them from getting deeper.

2. You Want Preventative Treatment

Some people start Botox in their late 20s or early 30s as a preventative measure. Botox can help delay the formation of deeper lines by reducing repetitive muscle movement.

3. Makeup Is Settling into Lines

If you notice that makeup is creasing or settling into fine lines on your forehead or around your eyes, it could be a sign that Botox might help smooth those areas.

When we’re aiming for a brow lift with Botox it’s important to understand how the forehead muscle (the frontalis) plays a role. This muscle is responsible for lifting the brows. If we treat it too heavily or completely freeze it we actually weaken the very muscle that helps lift the brows in the first place. So, when someone wants a brow lift but also wants their forehead smoothed out, those goals can conflict. Treating the forehead to reduce lines can cause the brows to drop, because we’re limiting the muscle’s ability to lift them. That’s why a more tailored approach is essential — balancing smoothing with lift, rather than letting the two work against each other.

Tear trough filler is a non-surgical cosmetic treatment that involves injecting dermal filler into the area under the eyes—specifically the tear troughs, which are the hollows or grooves between the lower eyelid and the upper cheek.

Purpose:
The goal is to:

Reduce the appearance of dark circles
Minimize hollowing or sunkenness
Create a smoother, more refreshed look

Procedure:
We use a cannula to inject the filler into the tear trough area.
The procedure usually takes around 15–30 minutes.
Results are often visible immediately but improve as swelling subsides over a few days.

Results:
Can last from 6 to 18 months, depending on the product used and individual factors.
It’s minimally invasive with little to no downtime, though mild swelling or bruising can occur.

Considerations:
Best for people with volume loss, not those with puffy under-eye bags (which may require surgical correction).
Results can vary depending on anatomy and the skill of the injector.

Non-surgical rhinoplasty also known as a “liquid nose job,” is a cosmetic procedure that uses dermal filler to reshape and contour the nose without surgery. It’s a quick, minimally invasive alternative to traditional rhinoplasty with little to no downtime✨

This was my client’s first time getting lip filler✨ I’m often asked ‘Should I start with 0.5ml for my first time?’ My answer is usually no, especially if your goal is to achieve more definition and fullness. 0.5ml typically doesn’t provide enough volume to make a noticeable difference for first-timers. I generally recommend 0.5ml only if you’ve had filler before and are looking for a subtle enhancement or slight definition🫶🏼

Profhilo is a popular skin booster treatment designed to improve skin hydration, elasticity and overall appearance. It is a type of injectable hyaluronic acid (HA) that differs from traditional dermal fillers. While traditional fillers add volume to specific areas, Profhilo is injected into the skin to deeply hydrate and stimulate the production of collagen and elastin, promoting smoother, firmer and more radiant skin.

We’ve been through quite the journey to get here! 🙌 This client came to me with lips that had been done elsewhere and were severely migrated. When she came in for a filler package I knew I had to hold off on the lips at first (she wasn’t thrilled about that 😂) We dissolved all the filler and started again. Fast forward to two 1ml treatments later and the results are AMAZING! 🥹 I’ll share her before and after photos soon but trust me the transformation is unreal!
